Committal Ceremony
Committal Ceremony
Anna was cremated in August but her interment in the columbarium outside our church had to wait until October, when the mason could place her remains and the brass plaque was complete. On 10/10 at 10 a.m., we held her committal ceremony. Afterward, we went to our house and planted a beautiful blue spruce and dozens of bulbs. As my brother, Tim, wrote, "Tragedy is easiest to digest when when heavily diluted by friends and family."

A sad and happy day.
The service.
To be recreated in 10 years.
Those we have held in our arms for a little while we hold in our hearts forever.
